P&O – Arcadia Dubai-Southampton Sector Cancellation

Please be advised that unfortunately due to the Dubai port closure the Arcadia Dubai-Southampton RWC sector has been cancelled.

Guests who were due to embark in Dubai on 24th March will now not be able to do so and their cruise will be cancelled. These guests will receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit for use on a P&O Cruises cruise departing before the end of March 2022. Standard cancellation commission will apply to the value of the cruise fare.

Guests currently onboard have been advised of the revised itinerary. Arcadia is now making her way to South Africa with a call to Durban on Sunday 22nd March, and an overnight call in Cape Town on Wednesday 25th March, before sailing back to Southampton arriving on Sunday 12th April.

Guests who were due to disembark in Dubai on 24th March will now disembark in Cape Town on 25th March and their travel arrangements home will be made and advised to them.  All other guests may stay onboard to Southampton, or they may choose to disembark in Cape Town on 25th March. P&O Cruises will arrange and cover the cost of their flights home. Those guests who wish to continue on the cruise from Cape Town to Southampton will receive an on board credit of £600 per cabin. Guests choosing to leave the ship early in Cape Town, rather than remain onboard to Southampton, will be given a Future Cruise Credit for any days lost at a pro-rata rate of 125%, with flight costs also covered by P&O Cruises.

Please find attached the comms that will be sent at 12am Saturday 14th March and the Arcadia pillow letter that will be distributed to guests onboard.
